Jesse was one of the best people I have ever been fortunate to meet in person. You could tell that he was a true follower of Christ and tried to live his life accordingly. He made life look grand and easy and it made me want to do better because he could see the good in everyone everywhere. While I knew Jesse for a few years now, we only became good friends this past year. I am so honored to have been able to call him my friend. Kristin my heart and prayers are with you and the boys. I am definitely better for knowing you Jesse Petersen.- Michele Butcher-Jones
I am so sorry for your loss. I wish I could have spent more time getting to know Jesse in person. The only time I saw Jesse in person was WordCamp Miami 2015, I was at the same hotel as him and his family, I knew who he was when I saw him at the free continental breakfast, but never had the courage to say hi. A few months later I asked him to be on my new podcast "The WP Crowd", and he joined me every week for a few months. We had some great convos both recorded and before/after recording. We had some great banter back and forth on Twitter as well, and I've been following along with both the surprise adoption, and CF progress. I'm very sorry for the loss. I was looking forward to meeting him again, this time with enough courage to say hi in person.- Roy SIvan
